Finite element analysis

See the stress before the steel does.

Dipta Design and Engineering LLP runs finite element analysis on your parts, assemblies and pressure equipment — structural, thermal, modal and buckling — and tells you in plain numbers where they will fail, and what to change before you cut metal.

02 / Nozzle Analysis

Submit the nozzle. Get the report.

The portal takes a nozzle’s geometry, materials, design conditions and piping loads, solves the elastic-plastic model on our own solver and returns a complete assessment report — the same analysis we do by hand, made repeatable and priced up front.

  1. 01Enter the nozzle on the dashboardBase component, neck, flange, loads and materials from the design-code tables, with a dimension sketch beside every field. Pre-flight checks flag anything unusual before you submit.
  2. 02See the price before you submitJobs are paid in credits from your account; the quote is shown on the form and nothing is charged until you confirm.
  3. 03We solve itA three-dimensional elastic-plastic finite element model, two load cases, mesh sensitivity and equilibrium checks — run by our engineers on our own solver, not in a browser.
  4. 04Download the reportThe model, materials, loads, results, verdicts and a compliance matrix against the design code’s documentation requirements. Your files stay available on the portal.

03 / Process

From CAD file to a clear decision.

  1. Step 01

    Brief

You send the CAD, the material and the load cases. We agree the exact question the analysis has to answer.

  2. Step 02

    Geometry & mesh

We clean up the geometry, then refine the mesh at fillets, holes and contacts until the results stop changing.

  3. Step 03

    Loads & supports

Boundary conditions are modelled on how the part is really bolted, welded and loaded in service.

  4. Step 04

    Solve & check

We solve, then cross-check the peak results against hand calculations before anything leaves the office.

  5. Step 05

    Report

Contour plots, margins of safety and specific design changes, walked through with your engineers.

05 / Contact

Send us the part you’re worried about.

Tell us what you are working on — a nozzle to assess, a part to analyse, a vessel to design, a report to review. Share the CAD, the material and how it’s loaded, and we’ll come back with a scope, a timeline and a quote at the e-mail address or phone number you give.
